A brand built on the meaning of pathways deserved a visual language that understood what pathways actually are.
Maroo is Wiradjuri for "pathway" or "track." Their mission, forging lasting pathways toward a brighter, more inclusive future for First Nations communities, was already in the name. My job was to make that meaning visible. Commissioned by Studio Biggie on behalf of Maroo, I developed Pathways of Time, a series of three bespoke artworks that form a graphic language system for the Maroo brand. Each piece carries its own story: of those who walk with us, those who walked before us, and those who will follow. Collectively, the artworks reflect the cultural understanding that pathways aren't only physical, they're relational and generational.
